Model 2900 MPV

The 2900 MPV utilizes the same proven concepts and principles integrated into the design of the 3900MPV
Allows a conventional 1900 Spring design valve to be converted to a Pilot Operated Valve.
Available in both Modulating and Pop Action Designs
Features Seat Tightness to 98% of set pressure and a blowdown of only 2%
Installation of a heat exchanger increases maximum operating temperature of 1200°F

General purpose portable relief valve for Air, Steam or Water.
Designed in accordance with ASME Section VIII.
Valve is normally supplied with  both male and female threaded inlet and outlet in sizes ½” to 2” , but is available in socket weld and flanged connections as well
Useable in pressure ranges from 5 to 8000 PSI depending on the size
Materials of construction are normally steel body and stainless internals, but is available in 316 Stainless Steel, Monel, Hastelloy or Alloy 20.
Valve is available in standard metal to metal seating, but is also available in soft seating providing for bubble tight shut off up to 97% of set pressure

A general service relief valve for use on Air, Water or Steam. Sizes ½” to 2” threaded male inlet and female threaded outlet. Set pressures up to 500 PSI for all services except the 2” is limited to 100 PSI for Steam ASME Section VIII Carbon Steel body with Stainless Steel Base, Disc and Disc Holder
